Pink Ribbon Cocktail Party

The National Breast Cancer Foundation is Australia's leading not-for-profit organisation funding breast, ovarian and prostate cancer research.

Since the establishment of NBCF in 1994, more than $200 million AUD has been awarded to over 600 research projects across Australia.

Flinders Lions will host a cocktail event in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday 27 November @ 5:30 at the Flinders Yacht club

Guest Speaker Associate Professor Heather Thorne, OAM. ,

Professor Thorne has been the national manager of kConFab since it started in 1997. This

foundation brings together over 300 healthcare professionals around Australia and New

Zealand, including clinical geneticists, breast surgeons, oncologists, psychosocial researchers, scientists, and community representatives.

These professionals all work as one to find better health outcomes for families at high risk of breast, ovarian, and prostate cancer.
